Hoghilag, a settlement documented since the first half of the 14th century, inevitably developed around the village church, which includes the bell tower.
Even if the enclosure and its elements have changed over time - it has a complicated history - it remains the main central pole of the village, a quality attested by its classification as a historical monument. Representing the main vertical dominance of Hoghilag, the bell tower can easily become a totem of the aspirations of the settlement, using the architectural heritage as a dowry for the future of a place signaling the community's inclination to understand its past.
The cultural overlap between Hoghilag - a Transylvanian town with a historic fortified church, and Hoghilag - the Land of Tuberose, respectively, creates a milestone in the imaginary of the settlement. The ground floor of the tower, which has become the Concept Store for the Tuberose Land, is a visiting card to this imaginary, and the interior design of the space is intended to have a dialog with fragments of the place's becoming.
